Why Central Texas makes it worse
Austin summers are hot and humid. Hair takes moisture in from the air, and where the cuticle scales are lifted, it swells unevenly. That uneven swelling is what you see as frizz.
A smoothing service lays those scales flat, so the air has far less to work with. A repair service fills the porous spots that let humidity in to begin with.

Frizz from wave and texture
Hair that is healthy but puffs up and waves the moment it meets humidity. Keratin smooths it and can leave some movement in.

Frizz from dryness or lightening
Hair that feels rough, dull and fluffy, often blonde or highlighted. It needs filling and softening first. Hair Botox and cold restoration do that without forcing it straight.
